	I fixed the format input files on the install servers to not
have overlapping partitions (oops).  After I did that, a reinstall of
joust at 8.4 followed by an update to 9.0 worked just fine.  I'm going
to assume that the name_to_major lossage and anything else seen on the
machine was a result of the partition problem unless it can be
reproduced.

	I'm going to work on code in setup-swap-boot to fix the
overlapping partitions problem prior to newfs'ing the cache partition,
so machines that were installed in the last 2~ months with the affected
disks can update.  I should have that ready by the middle of this week.
