Today panel behaved MOST strangely!

I got a question box saying that a running panel was detected and asking
me if I wanted to start another one. (I answered no.)
Then I was asked if I wanted to log out!

Then the panel came up with some stuff missing and I DID press the logout
button. While I was waiting for that logout dialog to come up, I
realized something must be core dumping into my AFS home dir.

Then I got another question box saying that the clock applet (I believe)
had been detected to have core dumped, and asked me if i wanted to
restart it.
(I answered yes.)

THEN the logout question I wa expecting finally came up, and again I
clicked 'no'.

At this point, panel seems to have recovered from it's delerium. There
was a core dump. It appears to be of the tasklist-applet. I left it in
/mit/bitbucket/wdc-cores/core

Share and enjoy.
