I have gotten cores from both panel and tasklist_applet, using the
systest account -- they're in /mit/systest/Public/core.{panel,tasklist}.
The tasklist core was produced by setting the GNOME_DISABLE_CRASH_DIALOG
environment variable set to 1; it presumably overwrote a panel core.
I got the panel core by running it with the --disable-crash-dialog
command line option, and not setting the environment variable.
I've looked briefly at the cores, enough to think that the fixes are
not immediately obvious.
