Some miscellaneous things:

control center
--------------
Desktop->Screensaver fails:

      /bin/sh: xscreensaver-demo: command not found

Desktop->Window Manager lists:

      Enlightenment (Current)
      twm

which is likely to confuse people; Theme Selector only lists "Default"
(I'm guessing that's a GTK thing, not actually looking at sawfish).

"Look and Feel" and "Sawfish window manager" entries fail:

      error--> (file-error "No such file or directory" "sawfish/client")

and hang control center until I punt sawfish-capplet.

Session->Session Properties fails:

      ** WARNING **: Could not connect to gnome-session.

desktop
-------
middle-click->Customize->[any choice] seems to do nothing

gnome-terminal and stty settings?
---------------------------------
backspace key works at the shell prompt, but in zwrite and at the comp
'What now?' prompt, none of backspace, delete, or ^H erase chars; if
I've done 'stty erase ^H' first it's fine
