Unfortunately, we can't take Mesa out of the release:

bash-2.04# rpm -e Mesa
error: removing these packages would break dependencies:
        Mesa >= 3.4-13 is needed by XFree86-4.0.3-5
        libGL.so.1   is needed by XFree86-4.0.3-5
        libGL.so.1   is needed by XFree86-tools-4.0.3-5
        libGL.so.1   is needed by xmms-1.2.4-13

But that shouldn't prevent you from installing it in a locker and
using it from there in third-party locker programs.
