I updated my linux box from 8.4.1 to 8.4.2 it re-upgraded my kernel
(which you'll recall I backed out so my machine would boot off of its
scsi disk) despite the fact that there was no kernel upgrade going
from 8.4.1 to 8.4.2. Interestingly, it didn't re-add several rpms
that I manually removed after undating to 8.4.1.
