Hi, thanks for reporting these problems. The serious ones are fixed
in 8.4.1, which I have put out just now.

The athena-zephyr RPM was empty due to a typo in the spec file.
> astrophel[~][43] ls /etc/hosts

This is because the syncconf script had a syntax error in it and
wouldn't run properly.

These error messages are harmless, although I would like to do away
with them if possible. The "cannot remove <foo>" messages should
become less common now that we have better file lists in our RPMs, but
the "package not found in file index" errors are a bit more
mystifying.
