If you had the same problem on an O2 in 3-133, maybe your dotfiles
just don't work on SGIs? I don't think it's a new or unusual thing
for LD_LIBRARY_PATH to be undefined on IRIX.
If you'll quote the line of your .cshrc.mine or .environment file
which references LD_LIBRARY_PATH, I can give you a replacement which
will work whether or not it's already defined.
