This is a case where the new tcsh defaults don't match the old Athena
tcsh defaults. "$hosttype" is still set correctly. Have we ever
documented $HOSTTYPE? I can't find anything in olh or the olc stock
answers, and the only thing I see in the SIPB documentation is in
iCyrillic...
