ksrvutil went way in krb5. To smooth the transition from srvtabs to
keytabs, I've arranged to build it from the krb4 sources and have it
installed in 8.2.8, which should go out to the Athena cell in about a
week. Accounts shouldn't need any new instructions, although we may
want them to start recommending keytabs later on in the lifetime of
the 8.2 release. (One of the relevant factors is when the next
Linux-Athena release happens from SIPB, since a lot of srvtab requests
are for Linux boxes. Right now it's slated for fall, but
traditionally these things fall behind schedule by at least several
months.)
