What were you trying to do?
update to 8.2.7, after having run 8.2.4
(actually I noticed this when taking 8.2.6 too, but forgot to
mention it)
What went wrong?
It complained about a bunch of files in
/var/server/usr/athena/share/emacs/19.34/lisp while running
mkserv. "Not copying foo because the target is a more recent
copy."
What should have happened?
It should have either updated them or decided it didn't need to.
Yo, got any documentation, or other info?
I suspect that the pack rebuild for early somehow created elc
files with older timestamps than the ones that had been on the
beta packs. I have no ideal if the files are actually different.
