The problem happens with the native Solaris 2.6 named, which is just
being picky about the illegal underscore in the aname (whos_there).
8.2 will actually be running BIND 8.1.2, which might or might not have
this problem.  At any rate, non-Athena Solaris 2.6 machines will
continue to dislike that aname.

Can't you just make the aname whos-there and make whos_there a cname?
Having an illegal aname is silly.
