Alarming, to say the least.
Could you elaborate on "delete almost all customizations" and "ended
up setup as a standard public workstation?" If I run hostcheck on
plug, it doesn't think of itself as public (but then, you might have
run mkserv on it since the event).
Also, please send me the contents of /etc/athena/version,
/etc/athena/rc.conf, and /var/athena/update.log.
