What were you trying to do?
make sure problems on SGI's will be centrally logged.
What went wrong?
syslog.conf isn't configured to log anything to WSLOGGER.MIT.EDU
What should have happened?
well on the sun, at least, the following line is in /etc/syslog.conf:
*.warning;kern,user.notice @WSLOGGER.MIT.EDU
Yo, got any documentation, or other info?
installed at 8.0 not updated
I don't think that matters in this case tho.
either way, Craig already knows about it.
