figure out why the load was at 1 rather than 0
What went wrong?
syserr was spinning
appearantly because /usr/lib/sysmon/syserr.FIFO was missing
What should have happened?
mkfifo /usr/lib/sysmon/syserr.FIFO
Yo, got any documentation, or other info?
yes, this was on an SGI installed at 8.0 not updated to it,
that may make a difference.
