There seems to be a bug in mom, but I really have no idea what's going
on. This happens whenever someone tries to use the -mail option while running
in a cmd shell in emacs. Other than that I can't find anything important. Oh
yeah and my SHELL is /bin/sh.

$ mom -mail
mhmail: usage: mhmail addrs ... [switches]

$ mom -mail $USER
mom <gsstark>: Usage: mom [-zephyr|-z] [-mail|-m] [-no|-n]

$ mom
This notification is provided by the mom system, and will be repeated
on each login until you acknowledge it by typing the command "mom -n"
at your athena% prompt. For more details, see "man mom."

This is a test message from the system formerly known as mom.

The system will be changing its name to the lert system (get a lert!).

This message indicates that you were on the list of people maintaining
machines in the beta or early clusters.

This is only a test. Had it been a real message from the lert system,
accounts would probably be threatening to deactivate your account
soon.
