People/Machines not noticing updates?

It seems that 7.7H, 7.7I, and 7.7N for rsx6k, decmips, and sparcs
snuck by without being announced. This is fine, but for some reason,
this workstation (pickled-herring) failed to notice also.
That is, it did not seem to comment that it's workstation version was
obsolete. This seems peculiar and contrary to my recollection of how
things were "supposed" to work; but I didn't bother to debug it, I just
took the update. I suppose we'll see if it happens again, though. I did
run reactivate by hand and it certainly noticed...
I suppose the lack of announcement is due to the parasites eating Craig.
Oh well, 'hope he was tasty...
