This may sound silly, but can the message that is printed when a machine fails
to activate or when it does not have the current software version be changed
before final release ?
For example:
The workstation software version ($VERSION) does not match the
version on the system packs ($NEWVERS). A new version of software
may be available. Please contact Athena Operations (x3-1410) to
have your workstation updated.
should refer people to 'Hotline' not 'Operations'
These messages account for a lot of misdirected mail to operations and slower
response from hotline.
