We will be using the BIND 4.8.1 version of named in the spring
release. Since this is a critical piece of system software, we'd like
to get some advance testing. To install the test version of named on
your vax, rt, or decmips:
1. activate the workstation (you can do this while you are
logged in)
2. become root
3. run the script /afs/testers/src/named/installnamed
That's all there is to it. This will continue to use anything you may
have in /etc/named.local, but will replace the other named files.
Please report any problems to testers@athena.mit.edu.
