It seems that several SIPB locker programs that were compiled under
solaris 2.1 have now developed an added functionality under 7.7/2.3;
namely, they stress-test the filesystem by dumping core. I have a
few suspicions about what might be causing this, but I was wondering
if anyone knew of any definate porting problems? This seems like
something Sun would be aware of, and might even tell us if we asked
long enough... I don't follow comp.sys.solaris (or whatever it is)
anymore; anyone see anything there that would indicate a problem?

Thanks,
chad
