Two bugs (for PageView, the Sun PostScript previewer):
1) PageView kills vtwm.gamma
PageView starts okay -- the window maps and draws, but about a second
later, vtwm.gamma segv's and dumps core. Attempting to restart it
produces similar results: vtwm.gamma starts up; about a second later, it
segv's and core dumps.
This problem is specific to vtwm.gamma. The standard vtwm works fine,
as do twm and mwm.
2) Trying to turn off "PostScript Structuring Comments" kills PageView
I loaded a manually-generated PostScript file. (It was one of the
examples from the Blue Book.) PageView displayed the file but popped up
a warning that the file didn't seem to follow "Adobe PostScript
Structuring Conventions." It recommended activating the "Ignore
PostScript Structuring Comments" option in the Edit->Properties menu.
I took its advice. I checked off the "Ignore" box, then clicked on the
"Apply" button. PageView exited with a return code of -42.
