porter, an RS/6000 running 7.6, has some bad symbolic links in
/usr/lpp/X11/lib/X11/fonts:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root 68 Jul 12 19:34 Speedo -> /afs/rel-eng/system/rs_aix32/image//usr/lpp/X11/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root 67 Jul 12 19:35 Type1 -> /afs/rel-eng/system/rs_aix32/image//usr/lpp/X11/lib/X11/fonts/Type1
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root 66 Jul 12 19:34 i18n -> /afs/rel-eng/system/rs_aix32/image//usr/lpp/X11/lib/X11/fonts/i18n
These directories should be on the local disk or links to /srvd.
Also, the link pathnames should not have two slashes in them.
