i'm not sure this is a 7.4 bug. when i try console login on navigator
or copilot (both vax 3100's running 7.3), and get prompted for a login
name, about 3/4 the time, the "h" causes the cursor to move backwards,
and then the "onor" never shows up. i haven't been able to find any
pattern as to when this will or will not happen.
