When runing /usr/etc/zwgc from a non x-terminal, I'm still getting the
following messages:
athena% /usr/etc/zwgc
zwgc: Unable to open X display -- disabling X driver.
zwgc: There is no X display available, so zwgc cannot run.
THIS MEANS THAT YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY ZEPHYR MESSAGES.
If you wish to receive Zephyr messages, you should start zwgc
with the -ttymode option (type `/usr/etc/zwgc -ttymode').
Read the zwgc(1) manual page for details on the fallback variable.
I thought these were going to be made more 'user-friendly' and have
no beeps in 7.2 ...
Thanks,
Peter
/usr/etc/zwgc -ttymode no longer prints the warning about being unable
to open the X display.
The last Release 7.2 meeting, beeps were discussed, and the consensus
was to have a maximum of one beep per message.
