I installed soup from scratch at 7.2 without going through any
update procedures. I have noticed a few strange things. For
one:
/usr/msgs/1 contained mail from Mike Shanzer dated sometime in
1988 indicating that the "msgs" command was no longer supported.
(Unfortunately, I accidentally erased this...)
Also, there is no /etc/ftpusers. I don't think this is
necessarily bad, but it is a change that I don't remember
hearing about. I'm pretty sure that it was not absent in 7.1
because my customization script messes with it. Besides,
there's one in /srvd. I should mention that I run mkserv
discuss nfs remote mail afs kerberos if that could have anything
to do with the absense of /etc/ftpusers.
/ is over 100% full. This is bad.
So far, that's it...
