Good Afternoon!

The Software Release Team is proud to announce support for KLPR for Macintosh.

About KLPR
--------------------------------
KLPR is a printing plug-in which provides the option of Kerberos
authentication in TCP/IP Printing so that Macintosh users can print
to Kerberos authenticated printers. This includes printers in Athena
clusters as well as other Kerberos authenticated printers on the MIT
network. KLPR performs Kerberos v5 and v4 authentication using MIT
Kerberos for Macintosh.

For more information, see the documentation at http://web.mit.edu/is/help/klpr.

Minimum System Requirements
--------------------------------
* A PowerPC based Macintosh running Mac OS 8.5 to 9.2.1.
* Kerberos for Macintosh 3.0 for KLPR v2.1.1

or

* Kerberos for Macintosh 3.5 for KLPR v2.1.3

Note: QuickDraw GX must not be installed.

Where to get KLPR
-----------------------------
Download KLPR by going to the MIT Software Distribution page at
http://web.mit.edu/software. You will need certificates to download
the installer.

Getting Support
-----------------------------
If you have questions or need assistance, please contact the
Computing Help Desk at computing-help@mit.edu or x3-1101.

Regards,

Ginny
