IS Releases Eudora 5 for Macintosh
The Software Release Team is glad to announce the release of Eudora for
Macintosh version 5.0.1. We have been working with members of the MIT
community to create a customized installer, test new features, and create
documentation and stock answers.
Customized Installer Released
-----------------------------
The Eudora Release Team has created an installer that delivers Eudora
version 5.0.1 for the Macintosh customized for use within the MIT computing
environment.
At the Eudora home page http://web.mit.edu/is/help/eudora/ you will find
links for downloading the software, installation instructions, new
features, and additional documentation.
New Features
------------
Qualcomm added several new features and improved existing
functionality. New features include Eudora Sharing Protocol, Moodwatch,
statistics on your e-mail usage, and support for IMAP messaging
protocol. They've also improved the Address Book, and improved scripting
on Macintosh.

Eudora for Windows Update
-------------------------
The Eudora 5 for Windows installer is in community testing at this time. We
anticipate that we will be able to release this version within the next few
weeks, and will send an update if that estimation changes.
