The TSM Release Team is happy to announce the release of TSM 5.1.5 for
Mac OS X. TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager), previously named ADSM, is an
application that lets you backup and restore files from/to your computer
over the network.

Who Should Download and Why
---------------------------------------
All Mac OS X users who want a utility that will backup and restore their
files should consider using TSM 5.1.5.

Version 5 is the first version of TSM that supports Mac OS X.

If you use Mac OS X and have been using earlier versions of TSM, you *must*
update to
this one. Previous versions of TSM do *not* support Mac OS X.
(We will be contacting Mac OS X users who are using earlier versions.)

If you dual boot your machine (OS 9 and OS X), you must backup your machine
using this version while running OS X.

If you use Mac OS 9.2.2 or earlier, you should continue to use TSM 4.1.3

Notable Features
--------------------
- Support for Mac OS X
- MIT Installer configures application for user
- Support for migrating from previous versions

Known Issues
-----------------
- Doesn't support Mac OS 9.1+ (yet)
- File names with non-Roman characters will not be backed up
- User must be logged on for scheduled backups and must set System
Sleep to Never in Energy Saver
- In 10.1.5 only, the prompt for Administrator name and password may
   appear as "Authorization Trampoline" message
- We urge the use of TSM Mac X Scheduler, not the TSM Mac X Scheduler
Daemon, because the latter requires the user to logon with
   automatic password entry
- Use these applications: TSM Mac X Backup and TSM Mac X Scheduler
- Keep, but don't open, these applications: TSM Backup and TSM Scheduler
