(Sorry for such a late reminder.)
The Athena 8.3.16 patch release is scheduled for tonight. Changes
include:
* Sun patch 105722-03 was introduced to fix ufsdump and
ufsrestore.
* Sun patch 105633-26 was introduced (an X server upgrade).
* A bug in DHCP support (on the Solaris port) has been fixed.
* xss-button will be quieter.
* Some logging has been added to the Athena inetd to help
track down a bug.
* ftpd will log "password required" at LOG_INFO, not LOG_ERR.
* The update script now identifies Cluster Services such, and
not as Hotline.
* A typo was fixed in the Athena startup scripts related to
sshd options. (No visible effect.)
* There are some more fixes to bashrc and bash_login.
* There is an athinfod query to get the update log, for public
workstations only.
* lpr won't retry on every possible source port if it gets an
ECONNREFUSED error.
* liblocker (used by attach and quota) will block ^Z while
holding the attachtab lock.
* There is a fix to liblocker's path canonicalization routine
so that it won't double-free memory.
* The dvips file ad.enc is installed, a necessity for some
dvi files.
