Hey, it takes a lot to keep a good southern farm woman down. My Mom
is remarkably better - much to the doctors' surprise!
It's been a long 9 days of tests, antibiotics, breathing assistance,
draining fluid in and around the lung, blood tranfusions, etc.
There was a remarkable turn for the better on Wednesday with
significant improvement yesterday too. Yesterday she walked
down the hall without assistance. We're hoping to get her into
a transitional care facility early next week. Her recovery is
really amazing the doctors given her ripe age of 88.
Sorry it took so long to update you. I didn't take my laptop to NY.
Thanks again for all your support and prayers. It meant a lot to me.
