====================================
9/13. Attending: everyone
1. Documentation (MEB)
-MEB; bring Service/Support plan to next Monday's meeting for group review.
-Phase rollout. Review and edit w/Lynne. Dates depend on developing a
timeline.
-Business model. Edit a draft when ready.
2. Dave's chat w/Syracuse. We have issues in common: flash forms, 3160
printers, need for accounting, ways to track usage. Dave w/stay in touch
w/them.
3. Jeff Harrington w/write the kerberized Mac client (port monitor) for end
users. There is already a port monitor for Windows.
4. Secure printing. We still need a formal statement from Susan Minai Azary.
ACTION ITEM: Dave, keep at it.
5. Cecilia w/drop back to 10% effort on the project w/focus on generating
the business model. May not attend all meetings. Needs to know about any $$
issues, e.g., software support options and costs.
6. Software support plans are unclear. Need to find out options and costs
from Phil Muolo. Need same info from Elixir re: flash forms on IPM.
ACTION ITEM: Lynne. Make these calls.
7. Tachnical overview. Rocklyn practiced his segment for tomorrow's
presentation to OCMG. Highlights: port monitor is the alternative to KLPR.
It is a printer driver on the user's desktop that contacts IPM via IPM's
web server. User's will use the port monitor in order to submit print jobs,
and use a web browser to view the print queues.
8. What is the timeline for Admissions postscript requirements?
ACTION ITEM: Dave, call Marina Hauptman.
