Norbert,
We assume the user GUI reference is for our customized browser interface.
Another colleague will send you the screenshots. We don't use the
IBM client GUI since it didn't satisfy our authentication requirements
nor was it supported for MacOS.
I'm unaware of any GIS work on campus of the nature you refered...
