David,
we were not quiet satisfied about the solution IBM presented yesterday.
One problem is, that they can'nt present a user-gui that matches our
requirements.
Because our requirements seems to match to your solution, i would ask
you to give
me some more information or perhaps some screenshots of your user-gui.
IBM Germany also want to get in touch with the IBM employee,
who is responsible for the solution at MIT.
Another question:
To increase functionality of our data warehouse, we discuss to implement a
GIS
system based on IBM UDB with spatial extender, ESRIs ARCSDE and ARCIMS (all
on AIX)
and promote a web client to the users.
Are there any projekts at MIT that
have implemented a GIS in an server side environement?
