Mainly for Mary Ellen,
Bob called to congratulate the team on finishing the project and
staying the course. He also asked that we update our project notebook
to indicate we're done - something that stands out and is easily seen.
How 'bout something like...
The Enterprise Printing Project finished their work on May 31, 2002.
Please refer to the project's scope statement for a better understanding
of the team's mission. The key components of the delivered service include:
- production and test/development/business continuity RS6000s running AIX
- IBM's Infoprint Manager (IPM) print queue and printer management
application
- LPRng to receive authenticated LPR file submissions
- MIT's Apache distribution for the web server functionality
- custom coded browser interface for end users, operations and help
desk staff
