Greetings,
The operators called me just after 6:30 this evening to report a problem
with a print job.
They tried to cancel the print job, and I tried to bring up the Java GUI
via x windows.
I waited almost two hours with no success bringing up the GUI.
Now neither the operators nor I can get the print jobs page nor the
printers page to load.
I have used the ps elf command and have killed a few OLD processes in the
hope this would free up whatever was hanging things, but no improvement.
HELP! Please.
