Hi Janet,
You found the right place to forward the problem mentioned below.
The browser interface for the new printing service is rough at best.
There are plans for a significant rewrite in the future. For now,
the main URL for using the new printing service mixes end user functions
with restricted administrative functions. Due to the authorization
mechanism used currently, we were unable to easily separate the two types
of functions in the displayed URL. So, end users see function buttons
they can't used - not a desired end state for the interface.
Until the full rewrite is completed, I'm asking the delivery team members
via this email to think about options for minimizing confusion here.
For example, can we add some words in the page that indicate the
function is restricted to authorized service administrators & maybe add some
appropriate text in the supporting central printing help URLs.
Additionally, could the team add some descriptive text for the newly
added 'Account Info' function button. It was added after the other
functions but no descriptive text was included with the button.
