Greetings,
IBM called me back twice today. The first time to say.....operating as
written, it is designed to hit the 90% threshold and then clean out
files. Increasing the current filesystem by 50% wouldn't hurt.
Rob then called back a second time......He did a little more digging and
came up with a setting in the job/document defaults in the logical
destination. Set delete segment list to yes instead of default.
I have reset all of the active logical destinations that point to the IBM
printers appropriately. I have also updated the waiting jobs in the queue
as well.
I just checked and /var/psf/segments is at 70%.
I will check again in the morning and find a quiet time between jobs to
clean out the old files.
We should be all set at this point without increasing the disk size for
this filesystem, but I will draft a request to ASST to double /var/pd/pillage.
I will do this in the morning since I have been pounding on the GUI since
about 6:15.
