Greetings teammates,
Rocklyn stopped by earlier this afternoon. We figured out I had set the
printer up in the wrong manner. I was using AIX and we found BSD
connection would work better.
It does to a point.
We can use pdpr to fss1 to get the file into IPM and the rembak command in
the printer to pass it back through the klpd and out to the printer.
Rocklyn will clone the Dan script to remove the room and building text
fields from the pdpr command.
This is the good news.
The header sheet is the bad news.
For fss1 this should not be a problem.
For EP1 it will be a problem.
We should be able to add a command somewhere in the printcap stuff to
generate a header sheet, we just haven't figured out where and on which
entry, fss1 or fss1-ipm. Once we get that knocked off we can start the
process of testing and verifying ep1 and the duplex issue.
We are making progress and will get this done.
Thought I would at least report the progress and known issues, but the
issues are small and manageable.
Happy Friday!
Lynne
