Howdy there.. i am actually a graduate student at MIT and don't know so
many of you out there...
I am curious if any theatrical folks out there might be interested in
putting together a production of The Vagina Monologues as a part of the
national V-Day College Campaign, blending activism with theatrics. I know
that a lot of folks at MIT are interested in issues concerning
rape/domestic abuse/gender-based violence and thought that this might be a
fun thing to consider. Plus, i kinda think that MIT could use such a
production...
There's a lot more information up at http://www.vday.org/college/
Feel free to drop me a note. I have been involved with this organization
for over 3 years now and it's a pretty amazing group trying to do amazing
things, plus i bet bringing it to MIT would be a lot of fun.
