Today at 5pm in room 8-101
People will meet to discuss strategies for making the
public comment next week on DOE's energy efficiency and
renewable energy programs as effective and factually
supported as possible. Please join us to add your
slice of knowledge to make a larger collective pie!
Please check out the program budget:
http://www.EREN.doe.gov/budget/
and see what thoughts come to mind when looking at the
priorities and changes from previous years.
Also, feel free to bring other facts about general
DOE budget priorities, federal budget figures that
back up certain claims, (such as people say solar
power companies shouldn't expect subsidies from govt,
yet fossil fuel industries get mammoth subsidies for
their R&D, not to mention the price-tag of wars fought for
their interests.) But this is just one example. We
will each decide for ourselves what the important points are
and help each other out in getting data and documentation to
strengthen each argument.
Hope to see you then,
Aimee
wondering what the hell the DOE public comment is all about?
