Keys is a lot of fun, and men and women are equally welcome!

Hello,
I know I've already sent out this e-mail--I apologize.
However, we still really need some more volunteers.
If you have even just a couple of hours to spare on
any of the days, it would mean a lot to the girls.
Please forward this message to anybody who might be
interested.
Thanks!

Hello,
We're looking for volunteers for the KEYs programs
happening this summer. The program dates
are July 12th-July 14th (Thursday-Saturday)
and July 25th (Wednesday). All programs run from
9AM to 4PM. If you can help out
at all, even for a few hours during any of these
days, that would be great.
Please contact me at jenson@mit.edu if you are
interested.
Below is a brief description of the program:
The goal of KEYs is to offer encouragement and motivation
to adolescent girls by exposing them to the exciting work
that women are doing in science and engineering and helping
them to think about their interests and long-term goals.
Participants meet female college students who provide
personal contacts as role models and a network of accessible
resources.
KEYs programs emphasize hands-on activities and discussions.
The girls will have opportunities to visit labs and
participate in demonstrations, self-esteem building, teamwork and
leadership activities, and learn problem solving and communication skills.
Thanks!
Jen Son
