Cambridge Forum To Discuss Genetically-Modified Food Jan. 26

                
Steven M. Druker, Executive Director of the Alliance for Bio-Integrity, 
speaks on "Bio-Deception:  Exposing FDA's Misrepresentations About 
Genetically Engineered  Food" at 7:30 p.m.Wednesday, January 26, 2000 
at Cambridge Forum, 3 Church Street, Harvard Square, Cambridge.

Druker, a public interest attorney, discusses evidence that the Food and
Drug Administration was repeatedly warned by its own and other scientists
about the potential dangers of genetically engineered food, even though it
officially claims there are no reasonable concerns about their safety,

This Forum is co-sponsored by the Boston Vegetarian Society, EarthSave
Boston, The Council for Responsible Genetics and the Union on Concerned
Scientists. Major funding for this program is provided by the Chefs
Collaborative 2000 -- Boston Chapter.

Cambridge Forum is free and open to the public.  After the speaker's
initial presentation, the audience shares in discussion of the issue.
