Nader is coming to boston fleet center on Oct. 1!
They are trying to bring in 12-14k people. Since the fleet
center is charging a lot, tickets are being sold for $10 each.
And our friend, David Strozzi, is selling tickets. Get them from
him :dstrozzi@MIT.EDU or from the offcie directly, but ASAP!
More details follow (from Dave's email):
The details of the event are: it starts at 2pm on Sunday, October 1 in
the Fleet center. Doors open at 12:30. The votenader.org website says
that Michale Mooro and Howard Zinn will be there, no menion of Chomsky.
Tickets cost $10. I'm sorry we have to charge, but the Fleece Center
costs $80,000, and we all know that if the citizens don't pay for
democracy then the corporations will.
Anyway, it is a major part of the national strategy to fill the place
and force media attention. I urge you all to come, it will be great
fun. Plus, local activist groups will be given table space in the lobby
in exchange for selling tickets, and some local activists will be
speaking before Nader. It would be super-awesome if some of you guys
would help sell tickets.
To get tickets for yourself/get a bunch to sell/order by credit card, we
have an office in suite 213, 1 Davis Square, phone 995-2595.
If you're going to go you can buy a ticket from me too. PLEASE DON'T
DELAY OR WAIT UNTIL THE DAY OF TO BUY ONE! The Fleet center is being
very fascist about tickets and we need to sell them soon, now, in large
numbers. You can email or call me.
