Dear students, faculty and staff at Boston-Area colleges and universities --

You invited to register for the Boston-Area Campus Environmental Leadership
Summit at Harvard University on October 27-28, 2000, hosted by the Harvard
student Environmental Network and the Harvard University Committee on
Environment and organized by a committee of students, faculty and staff from
Boston University, Brandeis, Brown, MIT, Northeastern, Suffolk, Tufts,
UMASS-Boston, and Wellesley, and Boston-area environmental leaders.  The
list of campuses and groups getting involved is continually growing.

WHAT IS THE GOAL OF THE SUMMIT?

The goal of the Summit is to help environmentally-concerned Boston-area
students, faculty and staff become more effective, innovative environmental
leaders.  Specifically, the Summit intends to help participants improve
their organizing and leadership skills so they can:

-- catalyze better campus, business, and government environmental policies
and practices

-- strengthen campus environmental groups and programs

-- create a network of Boston-area campus leaders interested in
collaborating on environmental issues, projects, and campaigns

HOW DO I REGISTER?

Registration is FREE for students, faculty and staff of Boston-area colleges
and universities.  The registration deadline is Tuesday, October 10.
However, SPACE IS LIMITED.  If you are a Boston-area college student,
faculty member, or staff member, please register as soon as possible by
completing the registration form below.  Please return the information
requested on the registration form below in
one of two ways:

1. By electronically "cuting-and-pasting" the registration form text below,
providing the information requested, and sending it by email to
summit2000@environment.harvard.edu by no later than Oct. 10, 2000 or

2. By printing out the registration form below, completing it by hand, and
sending it by U.S. mail by no later than Oct. 10, 2000 to:
