call for help on the next issue of the thistle

i am sorry that it has taken me so long to send this out, but here is the
result of our last thistle meeting. we still want to try and get an issue out
on Sept. 26 and so we need to have ALL the articles DONE and available by next
friday (Sept 22). The list of ideas we came up with is
- IMF Protests in Prague (Esser)
- History of IMF/WB/WTO
- Center Spread on Hemp
Hemp and the Environment (MITHC)
Medicinal Uses of Hemp
Uses and History and Criminalization of Hemp (Amiee)
How to Grow it (entertainment purposes only) (Mike)
- Presidential Debates / O3
- Amiee's Nader Article
- DEA Defoliation of South America through chemical and biological "war
on drugs"
- Columbia (possibly written with a link to IMF/WB and SAP's)
- Racism in Drug War
- Freedom Festival Report
- plus we still would need the LGBT and the Feminist columns
We also desparately need to get ads so could who ever has the cost info and
the contracts please distrbute them to us all. Also could someone go ASAP to
Hempest and (if we still want it) to Hubba Hubba to get their ads since we
REALLY CAN NOT keep paying out of pocket for this. Please Please Please write
back to me if you or someone you know will write one of these articles or if
you or someone you know has another idea for an article to write. Hopefully
we can take a few minutes at the SJC meeting this friday to sure up the
articles and the ads so we wont have to have another meeting so please come or
at the very least write to the list with your thoughts and ideas. Thanks, and I
