i hope you will understand why i am sending this out to so many groups.
it's a chance for all of us to take a stand on what is happening in our local
communities with so many people hurt by these budget cuts!
funding for many important education, health, etc. programs are being cut
including all rape crisis centers!

The State House, Boston
Inside the State House
10 a.m. to 6 p.m. - Visit your rep and senator - pick any hour between 10 and 6 - Go to Room B-1 in the basement for materials. There will be lobby trainings every hour on the hour in B-1. Please be prepared for "airport-like" security checks (x-rays & metal detectors) at the State House entrances.
Outside of the State House
Please join us for any portion of these activities.
12:00 Noon - Multi-faith Convocation for a Fair Commonwealth
12:30 to 2 pm - Entertainment and testimonials from those hurt by cuts
2 to 4 pm - Rally Programs
Without new revenues, the FY04 budget will cut even more harshly and harmfully into "the muscle and bone" of Health and Human Services, Education, Local Aid, Public Health and Safety, the Environment and other important areas of the budget that protect and promote the quality of life for every resident of the state!. Join us on April 30th for all of the day, part of the day, whatever best fits your own schedule! And if you can't come to the State House on April 30, please call your state rep and senator today and on April 30th in support of new revenues!
