Hi Everyone,
The conference this weekend is Sat and Sun at MIT, mostly in 54-100.
The title is "Palestinian Resistance and Zionist Colonialism: The
History and Future of the Struggle for a Free Palestine." This is going
to be a great opportunity to get up to speed on the side of this conflict
that is never discussed in the main-stream media or in any typical US high
school or even university curriculum. There will be Palestinian voices,
Jewish voices, and others. There will be participatory workshops, so bring
your ideas and your voice. Schedule and Registration info can be found at
http://www.onepalestine.org/Palestine_conference.html
We need to start ironing out the final details, so if you are willing to
help out with conference logistics, there is going to be a meeting Wed
evening.
what: meet to help with conference
when: Wednesday, 7pm
where: the Thistle office, 3rd floor of Walker Memorial
(above the GSC office which is above the Muddy Charles Pub.)
If you want to help out during the conference, but just can't make the
Wednesday meeting, write to peace-request.
Regards,
Aimee
