WE WILL NOT FORGET.....
Yes indeed, we are still horrified by the attacks of
September 11 on the New York World Trade Center.
Let's spend ONE MINUTE of silence in honor of
the 3,000 innocent victims killed that morning, most
of them civilians, cowardly killed by terrorists mostly
unknown to us.
Since we are already in silence, let's continue to spend
FOURTEEN minutes in honor of those 130,000 killed
by the bombardments ordered by Bush father on the
Iraqi people during the First Gulf War.
Remember that in those days the American people
were celebrating, just as supposedly the Palestinians
on September 11, 2001.
Now spend TWENTY more minutes in silence for
the 200,000 Iranians killed by the money and the
weapons supplied to Saddam Hussein by the same
Americans who now scream for his death.
Another FIFTEEN minutes for the 150,000 Russians
and Afghans killed by the Taliban regime, also with
weapons and at the orders of the USA, who were
trained (including Bin Laden) by the CIA during the Cold War.
TEN more minutes for the more than 100,000 Japanese
killed directly and indirectly in Hiroshima and Nagasaki,
also by direct action of the great American eagle.
If you've done so, you've already spent ONE HOUR
in silence (ONE minute for the Americans killed 9/11 and
59 for all the victims at the hand of Americans).
Add to that one more hour for the victims of the Vietnam War.
And those in Palestine (Americans silently watching in the background),
and in Colombia, Guatemala, Cambodia......
Hopefully, somebody will remember the bombardment
of Bagdad during the First Gulf War, in which 18,000 innocent
civilians were killed, and also the Massacres of Sabra,
Shatila, Jenin.......
Did anybody see that on CNN ? or on any TV channel of the world?
Did anybody ask for INFINITE JUSTICE ? or ENDURING FREEDOM ?
Even worse, did anybody ask for REVENGE ?
Hopefully, Americans will understand that the tragedies and the
atrocities committed by Americans, with their help, with their silence,
are as barbaric and as terrible as the tragedies and atrocities
committed by others. Or is it that the dead of other nations hurt less?
Surely, on 9/11 the entire world was watching the special programs on TV...
Crying and thinking about the innocent victims and honoring their
families...
But we should also have felt horrified on days such as the 12th, 13th,
14th...
when we saw a Palestinian mother crying over her killed child.
Or for the countless deaths in Afghanistan (we don't even hear much any
more)
where people are still being killed by American bombardments on the
population.
Let's all draw our own conclusions....
Send this mail to others, if you agree with it.
NO WAR !
Let's say NO to the person who thinks he's king of the world.
Don't condone genocide, act and demonstrate against it.
What would happen if there were a war and nobody went ???
