Hear from two of the leaders of the four month strike,that halted
privatization and  gained a stunning victory against the neo-liberal
designs on El Salvador of the ARENA party, multinational corporations
and the international financial establishment.

Julio and Victor will discuss how the unions achieved unity among the
doctors, workers and nurses; promoted the building of a national support
movement, including the FMLN within the legislative assembly; and
enlisted the participation of international solidarit--all of which
played a role in bringing about victory, and can serve as a model for
all of us who struggle daily against neoliberalism and for social and
economic justice for all.
