My friend Kathleen Jones (director of TTT foundation for
tutoring minority Cambridge kids in math and science) is
asking for a couple of MIT students to help out with
math tutoring for a couple of hours on Saturdays.
Here are the dates and times:
Saturdays October 19 and 26, November 2 and 16,
(decimals and fractions)
from 10-12:30 or 12-2 PM, in 1-150.
This is a fun activity, mainly to get the kids familiar and
comfortable with basic math concepts, with a lot of
interaction with the tutors and generally having a good time.
There will be a math teacher there.
Please contact Kathleen at kathleen_jonesttt@yahoo.com
if you can help out!
For my physics friends, I'm scheduled for 3 dates next
term to teach some physics or something ... please
let me know if you have ideas to help out!
